-The prose of the Enlightenment: journalism and literature of the self. The Cartas marruecas by Cadalso.
-Eighteenth-century theatre: Leandro Fernández de Moratín and the new comedy.
-Literary journalism in the 19th century: Mariano José de Larra
-Poetry of the 19th century: Espronceda. Bécquer and the Rimas.
-Romantic theatre.
-Realist trends: narrative (Benito Pérez Galdós, Clarín, Emilia Pardo Bazán).
-Literary criticism: Menéndez Pelayo. Valera.
